This weekend will be my first ever visit to Carmel/Monterey. I'm there for a handfasting (wedding), so time is a little limited, but we wanted to visit the aquarium while there. Would it be best (crowd-wise) to visit for the first 5 hours of Saturday, or just wait and go all day on Sunday?
Thanks! :D

If you have all day on Sunday and have a time frame you're stuck with on Saturday, I say go on Sunday....I could spend hours just at the jelly fish exhibits and they have the new shark exhibit to wonder over....the entire place is just awesome!
Depends on how much you love aquariums. My kids and husband would totally agree with MammaSilva. For myself, a shortish visit of two hours is plenty.
That said, the Moneterey Bay Aquarium is very special and friendly to those of us who aren't science guys. Highlights are the jellies, those cutiepie otters, and whatever program is in the auditorium by the gift shop.
Also, the cafeteria can't be beat. Nice food, nice prices, best view.

There have been some previous posts on the Monterey Bay Aquarium over in the Parks General forum, so I'm going to move this thread over there.
I love the MBA. I agree with Helen. If you like aquariums, there will be plenty to occupy you for the day and the cafeteria is good. Be sure to catch the otter and penguin feedings. :)

Thanks everyone!
It sounds like Sunday will be my best bet then, since Saturday will be a bit tight-scheduled with the wedding that evening and all.
I'm most excited to see the otters. :D
