Did anyone else get their Mummy Returns Preview invitations for June 20, 21, and 22? It's going to be exciting to finally ride this new Universal Studios Hollywood attraction!
Any news on possible soft openings before then?

I doubt there will be soft openings for this before those dates. however I wouldnt be surprised if they soft open it for other park guests the same days as the CAP preview.
Employee preview is 17th.

there was an unofficial employee preview today from 5-7, but the ride was "not functioning properly" so the event was cancelled. Rumor is that they will open the tomb up again tomorrow (sat) from 5-7 for employee's to ride. Any confirmations of this?

They may have been trying to run test cycles but no actual "unofficial" employee preview was ever mentioned.

Its not an open type thing. They asked certain employees to sign up for a 2hr period while they did testing.
Rumor has it they will do some kind of soft open on Friday. Nbc Party is Saturday and Cap preview will follow.
What exactly is the CAP Preview? I have a CAP (I got it from the buy-a-day, get-a-year promotion) but I never received the thing in the mail. Do I need to present it, or can I just show up with my CAP and be let in / on?

You should have gotten an invitation in the mail. Although Im not sure if it went to premium pass holders or all pass holders. I would bet if you went into Guest relations they could help you.
Anyway, they tried soft opening to the public yesterday and didint have too much success with it having technical problems withiin 30 minutes of opening. I am sure this will happen on and off all weekend.
Saturday is the NBC family day so i doubt they will be allowing anyone else on
