Greetings all.

This thread will either be moved or deleted because I have no idea what forum, if any, this should go under. So here goes...

Once upon a time, several years ago, I was on a committe to improve the working conditions at Disneyland. Well, much to everyone's surprise (yeah, right), none of our suggesstions were taken seriously.

Strangely, they did try one thing. The reverse appraisal. This was where cast memebers gave performance reviews of their supervisors. Now, the way they did it was the supervisor got to hand-pick who reviewed them. Laughingly, they still got horrible scores. So, Disney did the only thing they could about those low scores...they got rid of the reverse appraisals.

That didn't sit well with me. So what I everntually did was start my own website where people could give performance reviews of their bosses and these reviews would be posted for everyone to see!

So thank you, Disney, for giving me the inspiration to do what you and many others would not.

If anyone is interested, the site is up and still very new (read: "not sure all the bugs are out"), you can see it at RateYourBoss.org (http://www.rateyourboss.org)

I'd appreciate any opinions that you have.

Best,

Lighthope

Pearls of Wisdom - ...last screw - finished! Oh, what's that? A JUMPER?!?!
