Once you are a paid member, you can upload a 150x150 pixel image, no more than 23.somethingK in size, via the "Edit Avatars" section of your User Profile. You do not need to have a paid membership to use MousePad, but you do have to have one to have an avatar. For more information about subscriptions, please see this announcement (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=28798). Adrienne Hakuna Makarla 05-26-2004, 03:45 PM Is this just an image or can I add a picture? also I see you have a picture, is this an avatar? Or the added bonus of of a profile pic? thanks again awaii\tnf reply so I can subscribe accordingly.**Karla Kevy Baby 05-26-2004, 03:52 PM Avatars are seen under your name on every post and PM you make (unless the user has chosen to not view avatars). This is available to both subscription levels. In can be a picture, a graphic (like I have done), or just about whatever you want THAT STAYS IN MP GUIDLINES. Max size is 150 pixels x 150 pixels or 19.5 KB, whichever is smaller. With the Premium subscription, you get the added benefit of having an additional photo that will be viewed by anyone going to your personal profile page. I haven't seen the max on that yet. I don't know all the formats supported, but the two you will most likely use are .jpg (or .jpeg) and .gif. The former is better for "pictures" and the latter is better for "graphics". Edited to add: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller). This is interesting. Your "custom image" has to be smaller dimensionally, but can be a bigger file size. |
