Morning!!! My best friend and our 3 kiddos are going on a ROAD TRIP to Disney and Universal. Our kids are ages 12,9 and 4. The last time I was at USH I was newly married with no kiddos!!

Can I get some idea of what's for kids there and is SHREK might be too much for the 4 year old?

Is CityWalk still AWESOME?

Also what do you think the crowds will be like?

It depends on what your 4 year old can handle, I've seen plenty of very small children who really enjoyed it. The motion isn't too intense, and there are a few "scare" moments.
It should be fairly busy, but get to the park for opening, and you should be ok.

For kids, whatever you do, don't miss the Wild Thornberries Adventure Temple (it's tucked in next to Nickelodeon Blast Zone, and lot's of people miss it). It's kind of like a nursery that's exploded - there are foam balls, and air cannons on a couple different levels. It's fun for kids and adults.
