Well, after what seems like years and years and years, JTA had its Team Member preview Friday. On the whole, it looks like the attraction will be a homerun for the park. The reactions from other team members was very enthusiastic. Personally, I got 11 rides in, but others must have had over 20+!! There are issues with some non-existant themeing (speakers visible, unthemed on-board ride photo tower) but 98% percent of guest probably won't notice or don't care.
Thankfully, you don't get too drenched and if you don't go on over and over again, you'll dry off pretty quick. The interior lift is unusual and unique and once out of it, you'll get a great view of the parking lot! ;-0
The commerson dolphin exhibit was a high-point of the expansion. Their new digs are really cool - definetely a cut above their previous digs in the old Underwater Theater (now home to the Shipwreck Reef Cafe dining area) or in their support tanks backstage!
Passholders get the next few days to themselves so expect more detailed reviews from them!!
Thanks to everyone out there who supported Prop. D, the master plan and now JTA. Hope you like it as much as we did.
