My pen pal in France is going to DLP in 2 weeks. She's going to pick up a few things for me when she's there and I will return the favor when I go to DL in August.

Is there anything really different in Disneyland Paris from what you'd find at the United States parks? I don't collect pins. My favorite charcters are Elliot, Stitch and Donald Duck. I also have friends who like Snow White, Cheshire Cat and Dory.

Any ideas of what to ask for? :)

I just come back from DLRP, where I had a fanstactic stay, as always...
Yes, there are many merchandises sold only at DLRP, it's usually written on the object : "Exclusivité Disneyland resort Paris", I guess there's no need translation. :)

I just got back yesterday from Paris and went to DLP. The one thing I did seem to notice is that the charachters sold in the stores tended to be from older movies. For example there were a lot of toys from Mulan, Little Mermaid, and Nemo. Much more than DL (I was there on my honeymoon about 3 weeks ago). In fact I was so happy to find a plush Dory key chain in DLP. We named our dog Dory after Nemo and wanted to bring a toy back for her from DL but we couldn't find anything when we were there except the bean-bag toy. DLP had a much larger selection! Also the toy guns in Frontierland by BTMR are much more realistic than in the US. Actual metal cap guns without any funny colors on them to prove they are toys.

The impression I did get was that a lot of the merchandise seemed almost to be left over from the states and was sent there to sell the overstock items.

Olivier: How often are you at the resort? I went there in March and saw some really cute apparel for little girls (like this blue puffy jacket with Minnie on it, that miraculously also came in adults) and was wondering what their mail order process was like. I still have my receipts from DLP with the e-mail address on the back, but wondered if I had the opportunity to purchase items that I may not have bought while I was there.

Hello, I'm quite often at DLP and I never tried their mail order.
However I found some information on another website, the email is dlp.mail.order@disney.com , it seem to works really well, shipping fee is about 6€ (probably little more for the USA) and sent by FedEx.
And don't forget you can ask question about any product here :

Bye ;)
