Does anyone know how a new ride procedure works? Since this is scheduled to open on May 21st, will it be going when the park opens? If I am at the gate when that park opens can I run over and get in line? Or will there be some kind of opening ceremony or something? Any information will be helpful!

I went to the media day preview today at ROTM Orlando. The opening ceremonies began at 10:30 with stars from the movie there. There were fireworks and stunts and then the ride opened only for the media people to ride. Then at 2:00 PM it opened to the public. So far, no one who works at the mummy seem to know if they are going to do anything special for the Grand Opening for the public. If they do, the ride opening might be delayed for ceremonies and then opened to the public.

I know tomorrow night is the first night of the preferred annual passholders special event. The park will be closed at 7:00 PM and then reopened for PAP holders from 8 PM until midnight.

If I had to guess, I would think you ought to be able to ride on opening day at least by 11:00 AM and may be able to ride as soon as the park opens at 9:00 AM.

I've ridden the ride around 30 times. My youngest son has ridden 110 times (yes, it's true, he has no life.) My other son works at the Mummy. It is an amazing ride.
