If you love Disney, you'll adore this cruise. It has all the amenities of other cruise lines (except for a casino and library). The look is Art Deco and the "Mickeys" around the ship look classy -- not tacky. The service is unsurpassed, the food is great and the shows are amazing.

I think it is worth it -- if you can get a good rate.

If you have kids, it's even better. The Disney Cruises have an awesome kids program.

We went on it in 2002. LOVED IT!!! We are tossing around the idea of doing the Mexico version next year! We met another family before we even got on and they reaccommodated our dinners so we could sit together. Here we are 2 years later and we are still friends! Even had Xmas together last year! I tell everyone they have to go at least once. The only thing I would say is make sure any children you are taking are potty trained! If not they will not be allowed to stay in the kids club area alone. My DD was trained but when she got involved in something she would forget to go to the bathroom so we had her in pull ups for the busy things. They denied her entrance without us! Let me tell you the service was awesome! My DD is very adult when it comes to food choices. She was 4 when we went and always wanted some type of seafood. The waiters we had were great! They would obtain something from the kitchen that would fit her request for the evening. They even got Jello for all the kids (4 of them at our table) one night when it wasn't on the menu. I can't wait to go again! Next time I will get the cheapest room because we were never there but to sleep and shower. Our maid was awesome also. He checked in with us every day to sees if we needed or wanted anything! We wanted to bring all of them home. They become family especially after spending a week at sea with them! Go for it! You will have a BLAST!! :D

I forgot to tell you to go to a Travel Agent and get the Disney Cruise book! It will give you lots of info and pictures! You can also send away for a DVD or video on the DCL website. I ordered one just for the heck of it. My employer offers discounts on Disney cruises, so I wanted to check it out to see if it's something that appeals to me.

I can highly recommend the Cruise DVD. I ordered the new version and it arrived last week. It's well over an hour. I'm still not finished with it.

Over on mousesavers.com, Mary has a good article about the cruise as well as some $ saving tips.
