WHAT is UP w/ this video? It keeps starting and stopping, starting and stopping, and getting stuck. While Iger was talking, the picture was still on the singers on stage. Why cant we just do SAVE TARGET AS!??

I worked just fine for me! I have DSL and no interruptions, so that may make a difference.

It is completely a function of your connection - the server can handle streams of 20k simultaneous downloads. If you're having problems with it, check with your ISP.

As for 'Save Target As' not working, that is intentional. It streams only - it can't be saved. This was done to prevent theft and unauthorized reuse of the video. (A constant problem, and part of why we haven't offered video in the past.)

They could if you wanted to wait a few days for them to edit and stuff. The reason we got it so fast today was because it was raw footage.

Plus, they might not own the programs to edit the movie with (you know how expensive that stuff is??)

This is the first time we've done this, so watermarks, etc, are beyond me. We took the video file from the camera, burned it to DVD, drove it to our hosting company, and pestered them for 6 hours until they got it encoded and uploaded to their server. We're not hosting it on the MousePlanet server, because we'd like to have some bandwidth left for the rest of this month. :p

I'm sure there are dozens of MP readers who are going to be sending us hundreds of helpful suggestions of how we could have done this better / faster / cheaper. For now, I'm just happy that we got it done at all, and that MousePad still works despite the added traffic.

I got it to work just fine, and I am on a Mac (althogh WMP is not my favorite).
