I've come across the discovery that the contents of a PM can be no longer than 2000 characters. Is there some way to lengthen that without adversely affecting the way the system is run and without making the engineers crazy? I don't recall there being any sort of limitation on how long a regular post is, so it's kind of weird that there's that limitation on PMs but maybe it's a different allocation thing. I don't think 2000 characters is all that long, and I ended up having to break my message into two messages because of the limit.
