Could have, would have, should have, what if. All the same. The fact is they didn't. All the could haves in the world won't make it better. :|

No dripping water? That's your issue? What else you got? You don't like the boiler. That's an opinion, money won't change stylistic differences. I like the boiler. The thing that makes basements and boiler rooms creepy is exactly that...things that in the dark and shadows look like evil faces looming over you. No trees? They'll grow. They've got an arbor there that will grow in and look lovely. Bum speaker? Bound to happen, it will probably be replaced.
So for $20 mil, you want dripping water. Okay, then I vote you get to deal with the maitanance nightmare that would be.

I respect people's opinions, and usually don't post when I disagree with sometihng, but I think that you are being way too overlycritical at this point, DisneyFreak. Your experience on the Tower of Terror was soiled because of a few stupid superficial things like a face on the boiler or the absence of leaks? If you're looking that deeply into rides then I'm surprised you like anything at all. And by the way, what was up with your repeated use of the words "cheap" and "wow factor". Use a thesauraus occasionally.
Anyway, my personal opinion on the whole matter was that it's a perfectly decent ride and people need to stop letting their soured opinion on DCA affect everything. So many people talk out of their *** and don't have anything to back up what they're saying because they've never actually (in this case) been on the WDW Tower Of Terror or are just rehashing what other people have said about the tower.
And if you're harping on that they didn't spend enough money on the ride, it's probably because it's fine as it is. Sure they could have added another show effect or the Fifth Dimension, but that would have indeed been more money and a waste at that. I've been on both Tower of Terrors on both coasts and prefer ours more. I went on the ride with friends and family who haven't been on the one in Florida, and they had a prefectly fine experience on the ride so certainly the money wasn't wasted. It's a good ride. It will attract guests and you, though you say you're so disappointed in the ride, will surely go on it again.
You can like the WDW version better just as I can like the DCA version better, but don't be so frivolous in explanations. It's borderline ridiculous.
