As the title says, the Buy A Day, Get A Year promotion at Universal Studios Hollywood ends April 30. What does this mean? After April 30, it will cost quite a bit more to purchase an annual pass. At the moment, you can get a Celebrity Annual Pass (with 30 blackout days) for $49.75. With the Van Helsing: Fortress Dracula walkthrough attraction opening May 7, and Revenge of the Mummy- The Ride opening June 25, there's some really cool stuff to come back for with a CAP.

I don't know how true USH will stay to that April 30th ending date. I remember being a CM there and the "buy a day get a year free" promo was ending in january, 2002! then it was extended til april, 2002. here we are, 2004, they still have it and havent stopped it yet. so who knows. its a big money maker for them. ive talked with guests who purchased them from other states. people visiting from new york or places far east, and the fact it gave them the opption to come back a 2nd or 3rd time on their trip made it worth the price. granted they would never use it again b/c they wouldnt be back for over a year, but still, im sure USH will keep it going, or at least start it up again in mid to late summer if they do stop. but i dont see it happening

then no more Buy Day Get Year untill december/january

Anyone know if it will be extended for sure this year? My pass expires in a week and I want to renew, but they never sent any paperwork on it. Can I buy this pass online without having to go there? I will not be visiting the park before the end of the month.

Fine print says you have to redeem the printed tix before June 15th. Hmm, not sure I can get there before then. What to do...what to do.

If you can't make it, just get a regular ap when you go - they're not that expensive. i got mine for $50 something last year, so it probably won't be much more than that. although I ended up upgrading to the the pass that includes parking during the summer.

I was there yesterday and when we went to get our year pass the computers were down. The girl working said we could come later in the day or the next time we were there.....she didn't specify a day we had to return by.
