I have to access some tests for my online classes via a site that uses MacroMedia. My computer is freaking out whenever I try to load the pages. It's as if all the memory is being drained from my system when I try to load the pages. I close every program and turn off my AV, but it doesn't work. I have the latest version of MacroMedia and a new computer with (what I thought was) a lot of memory.
Help?

Do you mean pages that use Flash (which is by the company Macromedia) or some other product?

I have no idea if they are using Flash, it just says Macromedia. I don't have problems with other pages using Flash, just this program.

It may be that the site you're trying to load is using Shockwave rather than Flash. Those are two different Macromedia formats. You can get the most current versions of both the Shockwave and Flash players for a variety of OS/browser combinations here (http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/alternates/).
