Hi All-
I posted earlier today on looking for assistance in obtaining a ressie for a restaurant at DL. Unfortunately the message was edited to the point of uselessness.

Would people care to share their experiences at Club 33 and possible tips on how I can obtain reservations?

Additionally how about Blue Bayou. Tips on getting the best seating in the restaurant

I am very interested is seeing if the mods have issue with this post

dznyhmoon -- A solicitation in our book is defined as any request for a favor, where you are offering good or services, or you are asking the same from someone else. Examples include announcements about anything a member might be selling on eBay, Disney books for sale, looking for a special Disney pin to buy from someone. It also includes things like posting a personals ad and telling members that you want to find a date to go on.

In addition, asking for a Club 33 member (or a friend or relative of a member) for a reservation to the club, is strictly verboten. Just imagine all of the people who would love to go to Club 33, and what a problem we would have if we allowed everyone to ask. Not only would it be highly inappropriate and make Club 33 members here feel very uncomfortable (to a point where they might no longer want to visit MousePad regularly), but it would turn our boards into the classifieds.

Now, there is a big difference between asking for a reservation to Club 33, and asking for more information about the club. If you are interested in what Club 33 is like, or how you might apply to become a member, that kind of question is very welcomed here. You will find that Padders will be happy to either provide you with the answers directly, or point you to previous discussions or MousePlanet articles discussing this.

Since anyone who registers on MousePad must be at least 13 years or older, we assume that our members can tell the difference between soliciting for a favor, and asking for information.

Hope that helps clear it up for you.

PS: If you have a general question about moderation, please post it in our Admin forum, or contact one of the moderators via Private Message.

Note: I've split off the Club 33-specific discussion into a new thread (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26307) in the Disneyland Resort forum and moved this thread to the Administration forum.
