NOTE TO MEMBERS: Due to unforeseen construction delays, The Studio Chapter’s visit to the Burbank Historical Society’s Gordon R. Howard Museum on Sunday, March 21st has been postponed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this change in our meeting schedule has caused.

The Studio Chapter is going downtown for Disney at its next meeting on Sunday, March 28th! We’ll be taking a trip to Downtown Los Angeles to visit the new Walt Disney Concert Hall, which has been wowing fans of classical music and architecture since its grand opening earlier this year. At the Concert Hall, you’ll have the option of taking a self-guided audio tour of Disney Hall, offering a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of Disney Hall narrated by John Lithgow. After visiting Disney Hall, members and guests are welcome to have lunch at Philippe the Original, birthplace of the French dip sandwich, visit other nearby attractions such as Olvera Street, Union Station, and Chinatown, or explore more of Downtown LA. You’ve seen the photos and read the stories about the new cultural gem of downtown Los Angeles - here’s a chance to come see it for yourself! Please join us for a fun and exciting afternoon.

The Studio Chapter will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the Walt Disney Concert Hall box office, 111 S. Grand Avenue, Downtown LA. Audio Self-guided tours of Walt Disney Concert Hall are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cost $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students. Tickets can be purchased at the Disney Hall box office, by phone through the LA Philharmonic, or online through Ticketmaster; advanced tickets are recommended.
