Anyone in Philly with their mobile-uplink PDA? Please provide updates here as often as possible!!
No, I don't want to know what you had for lunch (a philly steak, obviously) or dinner (same). Just what's going on relating to Disney Company.

Well, then I guess today was the better day to have one's computer crash. I was not a happy girl. Took all day to reboot and reconfigure, and I'm hating computers right now.....

Just a thought: If you go to Disney Investor Relations and read the Q & A list there about the shareholders' meeting, you will see, sadly, that electronic recording devices like video cameras, cameras of any kind, laptops, etc., are not permitted, and you will have to check them (you can retrieve them when the meeting is over) before entering the meeting hall. This might be a SEC rule so that information during the meeting doesn't leak out and affect the stock, since voting and decision-making and discussions are going on. But still, with emotions and interest running so high, it will be particularly frustrating to wait for news.

Try, if available, to monitor all the cable news channels especially financial ones like CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN fn. CNBC Tuesday started carrying live the Roy Disney and Stanley Gold press conference in the morning, then cutaway! I got an idea, channel surfed, and discovered that Bloomberg channel was carrying most of it live and mostly in entirety with a couple of cutaways due to the Worldcom news then breaking.

Then there is local media news replys, maybe even on the Internet. See that last pitch I posted about getting the proxies in by midnight Eastern time. At the end I listed Philadelphia TV stations and the newspaper there, links. And you can always search Google News or Yahoo! News for stories.

One more day left of the cliffhanger, then we can rest this weekend!

CNBC says they're covering it live.
