Time is running out.
If you have not voted your proxy yet but want to and intend to, it's crunch time and time to pay attention to dates and deadlines to get it in to be counted.
Whether you are pro- or anti- Eisner your proxy vote must be in so it can be counted.
Look on the proxy ballot form. You will see a phone number. You can phone your votes in.
Look on the proxy ballot form. You will see a Web site URL where you can vote online.
When you vote online, you will enter in the CONTROL NUMBER in the space provided. Your control number may have spaces in it, but online you can just type them all in without a space. Select then the option for how you receive your proxy forms (snail mail or E-mail). If successful you will be taken to the ballot.
Vote as you want to. If you are so inclined, log onto

For their recommendations for how to vote "withhold" for Michael Eisner, Judith Estrin, John Bryson and George Mitchell. You will select "Vote for all except the following" on that online form, then mark the ballot accordingly.
There are propositions to vote for as well. One state fund that voted "no", North Carolina, voted against the recommendation of the auditing firm Disney is recommending. Read teh white booklet that came with your proxy form and annual report to see what all these propositions are about and vote as you want to. The Disney Company recommends a certain way of voting, either "for" or "against", but you can vote as you decide you want to.
Hit "submit" or something like it and it takes you to a confirmation page. Look it over, make changes if necessary, I would recommend you print this for your own reference if you want to. Then hit "submit" again, or whatever is similar to it, and your vote will be in.
How to vote on the phone is likely via touch tones and prompts. So you will need to pre-mark your ballot to ease the process of going through the prompts.
NOTICE:
Even though the meeting starts at 10 am EST Wed. March 3, be aware your vote MUST be in much earlier than that! This will give the tallying company enough time to count the votes so the results can be announced and dealt with during the Annual Stockholder's Meeting of Disney shareholders.
Here are the deadlines by time zone:
11:59 pm (one minute before midnight) Tuesday March 2 Eastern Standard Time
10:59 pm Tuesday March 2 Central Standard Time
9:59 pm Tuesday March 2 Mountain Standard Time
8:59 pm Tuesday March 2 Pacific Standard Time
After that just sit back.
Michael Eisner will not be voted out at this meeting. However you will be sending a message of support (voting "for" or as per Company recommendations) or a message calling for change (voting "withhold" or other than Company recommendations). It's up to the Board and CEO to consider the results of the voting. They are all running unopposed.
There will be a March 4, 5, 6.... Life after Roy Disney and Stanley Gold's SaveDisney.com meeting Tue Mar 2 and the Disney shareholder's meeting Wed. Mar 3 will go on. The whole swirl of events merely reaches a cliffhanger march 2 and 3, but not a climax, not an ending. The soap opera plot, storylines, and characters continue the next day. It has to play out.
Some places to follow the news online if you can't be near a cable TV set:
Online WWW sites of major news organizations such as Fox News, Cable News Network and CNN fn, CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal online, CBS Marketwatch.com, major newspapers anywhere, Google or Yahoo! (select their "News" search engines instead of the main search engine, enter "Disney" all day, or those sites already may have a Disney news thread started as Google News does on the right hand side of their "News" section).
The LOCAL Philadelphia news media will also be covering this event. Their media sites for LOCAL news:
KYW-TV Channel 3 CBS http://www.kywtv.com
WPVI-TV Channel 6 ABC http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/
WCAU-TV Channel 10 NBC http://www.nbc10.com/index.html
WTXF-TV Channel 29 FOX http://www.fox29.com
The Philadelphia Inquirer http://www.philly.com/mld/philly
The Philadelphia Daily News http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews
These are local news organizations that will send their reporters to cover the events. Be patient with them and how and when they may post their news online. But it's often interesting to see news from the local media's perspective vs. the national media.
Tuesday other news will happen, a press conference with Stanley Gold and Roy Disney is set for 11 am Eastern time and in the afternoon is the SaveDisney.com meeting and reception. The start of national coverage with advancers begins today, with other news coverage going on as well in the nation and world.
Wednesday morning very early the shareholders will arrive for the annual Disney Shareholder's Meeting and national media coverage will begin early. Check CNBC very early in the morning as well as all cable news channels and local Philadelphia media. The media outlets, unless they have press credentials, will be outside waiting for people to come out, for press releases, and the coverage will be going on all day with other news being covered as well.
Take good care!
