Can the time-out period for posting be lengthened? Here's what I see as the problem: I hit the "post" button and take a little too long to type in my message. I hit the "submit" button. It tells me I have been logged off and must log on again. I do so and it tells me I haven't designated a forum. I hit my "back" button once or twice or three times until I find my message again and re-try the "submit" button. But frequently, when I go "back", the message is gone and can't be recovered. Can this be fixed?
The only way I know to do this is to disable your automatic log off. After 5 minutes of "inactivity," the system thinks you are done and logs you out. Unfortunately, writing a post makes it look like you are inactive.
I do not believe there is anything that can be done to change this on our end, but I'll check with one of the system admins.

You might also consider writing your posts in a separate text editor (for spellchecking purposes) and then pasting them wholesale into the MousePad post window.

That's what I do.
