Can someone please explain how in one breath Eisner is blasted for cutting studio HAND animators as being part of the heritage and then turn around and blast him for not bending over backwards to Jobs with Pixar which is 100% COMPUTER animation?

Eisner has said the direction for Disney animation is computers and studios like Pixar agree. The future is computer animation and people like Roy Disney unfortunatly just like the LP album will become relics of the past.

Pixar doesn't say the future is computers (in fact they are looking at hand drawn in the future). They say good stories are the future and they just happen to do it with computers.

Those who blast Eisner feel he is giving credit to the form when it should go to the content.
