"The Viacom spokesman noted that while Disney's ESPN sports network is an attractive property, it seemed unlikely that Disney's current management or another company that successfully acquired it would part with it.
There would also be substantial regulatory hurdles for Viacom to acquire Disney, which owns the rival ABC television network and, like Viacom, owns a number of television and radio stations."
