wendybeth, thanks for posting this. I find it useful to know these "ice cold water shower" sort of articles. The warm fuzzy in me about Disney is finding it challenging to accept the possibility of Disney owned by someone else. Articles like this tell the warm fuzzy about Disney in me to get over it and look into a crystal ball. Tough part is it's still playing out and the roller coaster of following news is coming into the station inviting me to ride on it. Arrrrgh! ;) I prefer "tame" roller coasters like, uh, Goofy's Barnstormer, to what's happening now. ;) Still, I truly enjoyed that one you pointed out. Thanks for posting this, wendybeth.

I prefer the tamer roller coasters these days, too, CarolKoster! My opinion (not that it matters to any of these players) changes from one news report to the next. I am no fan of Comcast, but was feeling a little better upon reading more about Burke's history, temperment, managment style, etc. Then I read articles like this and I wonder how much of it is PR fluff being put out to woo the shareholders? Still, I imagine there are a lot of people sitting back thinking that Eisner's finally gonna get what he deserves.....

Ahhhh, wendybeth, I just wanna curl up under my warm blankie with Teddy Bear and the nightlight on, y'know? ;) Still gotta face life though. --sigh--

Lol- I was just doing that; my daughter and I were snuggled up with the three cats, a variety of teddy bears, and some warm fuzzy blankies, watching LOTR.:)
