Hey there,
Now that Disneyland has decided to tone down the Mad Tea Party, let's see if there are any well operated spinny rides left in Southern California?
First up-
Hat Dance - Knott's Berry Farm - also known as the Happy Sombreros
A wonderful teacup style ride that is only hampered by a slightly short operating cycle (but you can still spin it till you pin other riders to the headrest)
PEPE LE PEW'S TEA PARTY and ELMER FUDD'S WEATHER BALLOONS at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Two smaller rides in the Bugs Bunny World section of the park - they can accommodate adults and kids, but they're geared quite loosely - it's pretty easy to spin them VERY fast. The tea cups also rotate on a really small base, so you can induce Botox like effects fairly easily.
