Excellent. I was going to wait until hearing what they planned to do with the most prized asset in the Disney arsenal before weighing in.
They feel the parks can be "revitalized", they have the money to do so, and there's a chance Eisner won't be in charge. Add to that that Burke would be installed as head honcho in the absence of Eisner, and the future of DLR, WDW, DCA, and the overseas operations just got a lot brighter!
It looks like I was on the right track with my copyright/license question... it'd simply cost too much to transfer the rights, unless they found a company willing to pay crazy royalties for severely limited use of the franchises.
