Looks like Comcast is making a hostile takeover bid for Disney. Off all the paths for Disney to follow this one leads straight into the dark forest....

Customer Service is to Comcast as Happiness is to Plague.

Better plan those park visits now before you end up wishing you'd visited back in "the good old days"

Looking back at the GOOD times: Hiring Alan Mencken and Howard Ashman as song writer, lyricist and producers of Disney animated product. Their movies such as "Beauty and the Beast", even the stage show of "Beauty and the Beast", movie "The Little Mermaid"...all will be enduring. When Howard Ashman died we lost a truly gifted soul connected with the best of Disney in the modern era.

Another of the GOOD times: The movie and stage show of "The Lion King". The Broadway show of it is extraordinary. Connected to that is the CD "Rhythm of the Pridelands", lovely extension of "The Lion King" movie, well done and very worth owning, Disney at it's best in the modern era.

The revival of Feature Animation and the leadership they had in the marketplace, between "The Little Mermaid" and I guess "Tarzan" or so. All of this among the GOOD times.

The GOOD times of the Disney-Pixar relationship, "Toy Story" through present day with "Finding Nemo".

Restoration of the classic Disney films onto DVD with digital enhancement. For instance "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" on DVD was outstanding in content and visual beauty.

The GOOD Times: Walt Disney Television Animation making appealing programming like "Rescue Rangers", "TaleSpin" and "Darkwing Duck". The division also will to try something different like "Gargoyles". Interesting and original programming, instead of cheapquels.
