Did anyone else catch DisneySea Revealed on the Travel Channel? It looks so amazing! Has anyone heard any rumors of them doing a Sea park in the US? I would love to visit a park like DisneySea. It makes DCA look a bit pathetic!

Don't fall into that trap. As someone who's been to both parks, I can honestly say that they both have their strengths and weaknesses. They are both fun, and are simply different applications of Disney magic!

Didn't mean to sound negative, as I love all things Disney, it just seems that the 2 parks are at completely different levels. I have never been to either, but I would love to go to both- I guess I have just been influenced by the negativity I have heard about DCA.
When did you have a chance to go to DisneySea? Was it really amazing in person? What was your favorite attraction? I think I would like the Jules Verne stuff.

I think, Piglet, that any true Disney fan would enjoy spending time in both parks. Like I said before, they each have their high and low points. For a full accounting of what I thought of TDS, check out the trip report I wrote for MousePlanet at http://www.mouseplanet.com/dtp/trip.rpt/report_files/tokyodl.rpt/luce02jn.htm.
Try not to get too strongly influenced by other peoples' negative opinions of DCA. I heard rumors about how bad it was before I went, too, and was very pleasantly surprised. Think of it like some exotic food that other people tell you is bland and unappealing. Until you try it for yourself, you'll never know!
