I'm talking about working at Disneyland. Pardon me for thinking you could see that.
Oh, and it's Miss, not Mr.

Can I get a plush of B'rer Blue Bottle somewhere?
And, hey, I don't care whose fault it is - the queues at Disneyland are full of trash ALL THE TIME. Blame it on management, blame it on custodial, blame it on attractions CMs - it doesn't matter. The guests see it and it paints the Park as a branch of Six Flags.
And, um, I see PLENTY of CMs who refuse to pick up trash around the Park.
(And yeah, I also see a ton of CMs who are conscientious in keeping the whole Park as clean as possible.)

Yes, we'll be coming out with a LE version very shortly. Keep your eyes peeled for the special merchadise event we'll be having in the near future. Highlights will include the chance to dine with feline friends out by Big Thunder/Village Haus, a chance to drag the Rivers of America for your VERY OWN Blue Bottle, and last but not least, a meeting with a rat. And I don't mean Eisner.
There will be a pin released, of course.

LOL....
"Brer Blue Bottle" refers to a Dasani water bottle that was sighted in the water at WDW's Splash Mountain by a family, and that family saw it again and again, and apparently was never picked up by the Attractions CM working there.
Apparently it's still there....but I'm not sure about that. Can anyone verify that?

(PS - I wanna BBB plushie, too!)

Just being a devil's advocate here, but is it possible that it was a different bottle each time? They do sell Dasani in the Park and I think we can all agree that there are LOTS of slobs that visit the park.
Not trying to stir up muck, just asking a question.

If really offends me that people are generalizing all cast members at DLR. as having attitude problems and being lazy. I am a hard Worker and I have a very good attitude. I have been working for Disney for almost 9 years and have never had one guest complaint only guest compliments and have never been on one bad mystery guest score. So please stop lumping everyone into one category.
Oh, and one other thing. I go to WDW yearly and I would not say that WDW have the friendliest cast members around. Even my ex said how much better Disneylands Guest service was compared to theirs.....And we were there for 14 days so it was not just one bad day.

Well, as they say, one bad apple.
Ya have to not let it get you down, but it's a fact that one or two encounters with a surly CM are going to cloud the average guest's opinions of CMs in general. That's why it's so important that there not be any chink in the armour, no weak link in the chain. And why the rigid enforcement of Disney CM attitude standards is so important.
Sadly, these standards have slipped in recent years. True, the vast majority of CMs are still wonderful. But it used to be that surly CMs were a Disneyland unheard-of impossibility.
(And I dunno, there were plenty of surly CMs at DisneyWorld, too. But I've just always chalked that up to them having to employ so many more CMs than Anaheim does. I mean, can there even be that many good CMs?)

I know. I know. It's like being an AP and having CMs think that we are all "orifices of the rear". Such a drag!

Nope, statistical impossibility - however, trainers are taught that all new-hire CMs go through a cycle. Most don't last 30 days and quit, occasionally some are fired. It's weird, but on day 1, most CMs freak out - especially in attractions. Most people go into with no clue what they're really being asked to do, you have to learn how to not be shy and how to maintain control of people even in the worst situations.
Day 2 tends to be better, and they think they might be catching on, but then day 3 comes and they're really pushed to their limits to preform and do well - most attractions by day 3 you're starting into the "Checkout" process - no more hand holding.

I have no problem with AP's or I would not be chatting on this site. And how do I know who an AP is anyways? All guest look the same to me :-)
