Killing what made Disney Disney? (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/business/custom/tourism/orl-bk-disneycomment011204,1,4476313.story?coll=orl-business-headlines-tourism) - Orlando Sentinel, 1/18/04

QuikQuote: A "cost-cutting" move from a company that isn't so much soul-searching as selling its soul -- and selling short -- this follows years of overseas studio closures as well as recent layoffs here and at the studio's flagship animation operation in Burbank. Disney has even been selling off the animation gear, down to the desks the animators used to do their scribbling.
Disney boss Michael Eisner is at an age where he should start thinking about his Disney legacy. Killing the thing that made Disney Disney is not the way he should want to be remembered.

Between this article, the USA Today article for Monday 1/19/04, the Associated Press coverage of Roy's remarks at the NFFC convention over the weekend, and apparently CNN referred to SaveDisney.com today it all sounds like the media is beginning to smell a story here and they are covering it. Roy Disney appears also to be The Walt Disney Company's/Michael Eisner's personal Bill O'Reilly ("The Factor/The No-Spin Zone" in books, syndicated radio talk and on the Fox News Channel).
