If you think that's funny, check out http://www.ebolamonkeyman.com/ , where they actually correspond with the scammers and get them to take goofy pictures, give up more information, etc. etc. They're quite funny.

DisneyFan-I think your e-mail came from the same place as the ones from the link mrcoffee provided.

In both yours and the ones on the site (some of which are quite funny, I might add:D ) tend to not have spaces after commas. (commas,...not comas ;) )

-That was just me noticing things again.

I've gotten quite a few of these 'scam' emails - they're pretty funny...

I just delete them if my junk email filter doesn't catch it.

I got a message the other day that I now wish I held on to so I could post it here. Unfortunately I deleted it and none of you will have the pleasure of reading it (unless you get one sent to you).

It was an email from "Citibank" asking me to click on the provided link and verify my credit card number and provide tons of other private information. Of course, that's not so funny when you think about all the suckers that might fall for it. But the funny part was that every word longer than 3 letters was spelled incorrectly, but still readable. It was like a 6 year old wrote the thing. I was amazed and amused. :D

Anybody dumb enough to fall for such an email almost deserves to have their identity stolen.

I got that one too. CNet News.com has a story (http://news.com.com/2100-1029-5139891.html) about it.

Sender: "Excretions L. Flowerbeds"
Subject: "A new and fuller freedom"

The misspellings are mostly deliberate attempts to fool Bayesian spam filters. Not that it works or anything, but that's what they're trying.

Most of my stupid e-mails offer products not of a family-friendly board nature.

What I find ironic is that it should be obvious to anyone who knows me (or looks at my abdomen,) that my husband does not need the pharmaceutical products that they're trying to get me to purchase. I frequently ask my friends and say, "Do I look like my husband needs these products?"
