I have kind of an odd problem. Whenever I use Internet Explorer (5.2.3 - Mac) I get an error message at the top of all (I too somehow miss the "3 banner ad" rule discussed on another thread) MousePad pages where the banner ad normally is. The message reads:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
I do not experience this problem with Safari. Yes, I have cookies turned on.
Any suggestions?

Great. Right after I post this message, the error message goes away. Now, about 2/3 of the ads (or at least where the ads are supposed to be) are small red boxes with an "X" (meaning tha the graphic didn't load).
Sigh
(Yeah, I know... stop complaining that I am not getting the ads!)

I get those too, on Windows using Mozilla or Opera. Andrew told me awhile ago that their ad provider's code dosn't like anything thats not IE running on Windows.

It's not 3 banners, it's 3 pop-ups. Do you get a lot of pop-ups when you're running IE on Mac? I get very very few pop-ups, if any, when I'm on the pad and I'm always running IE. (Too cheap to buy panther, so we're waiting until the G5 imacs to come out and we'll get a copy "free")

Oops, sorry. I confloundered the two things.
No Pop Ups (I love Mac!). All the problems I referred to are with the banner ads. Still get some where the graphic doesn't load, but oh well.
BTW, IMHO Panther ain't worth the $130. I bought it becasue of the touted ability to print from a Windows machine to a printer hooked up to your Mac. As it turns out, this can't be done without getting into the Terminal and rewriting some code - no thank you! There are some cool features, but I ended up getting a separate printer for my wife's Wintel notebook - it was easier (although not cheaper).
What's wierd is that I never had the banner problem with Safari.
