We're watching The OC. They are making a big deal out of this band Rooney. Is it a real band? Local California band? They aren't much!

Hey thanks! I guess they are a real band, but we never heard of them. My offspring are usually quite up to date on up and coming bands. Not Afraid, I do not believe that you are an old person now. However, I am an old person, then and now, which is very sad.

Rooney... great band!! Their music is peppy. I like Blueside... then again.. that's really the only song they play on the radio!

The lead singer of Rooney played Michael Moscovitz(Mia's Love Interest) in the Princess Diaries. He was also one of the boys (Paul) who lusted after the Lisbon Girls in the Virgin Suicides.

I've listened to Rooney's music. I think they're pretty good. Of course everyone's going to know them now that they've been on the OC. My friends and I first found out about them when we found out that the Princess Diaries hottie Robert Carmine actually did have his own band (he was in one in the movie.) Since then, one of my friends has bought their CD and played it for me.
