Could someone tell me about transferring from CDG to DLP? I see there is some kind of shuttle bus mentioned on the DLP website. Is that reliable? Is traffic a problem -- I'll be returning to CDG during rush hour on a weekday. Also, I recall the RER goes to DLP. Is that an option from CDG and if so do people recommend it?

Catching the bus at CdG was one of the easiest transfers I have ever done. You just go outside and find the [red] pick-up curb and wait for the bright bus with characters painted all over it, to pull up to the curb. You pay the driver and tell him which resort you are staying at. 25 minutes later, you are there.

What a relief. This is welcome news.

I found the bus to be horribly inconvenient on my way back to CDG. Although we left the hotel in plenty, plenty of time, we almost missed our flight because the bus stopped at every other Disney property hotel (we were the first to be picked up) and then went to every airline terminal before ours. Keep this in mind if you use the bus to get back to the airport.
There is an RER connection, but we didn't use that either. On our way in, not sure of how the bus or train systems worked, I reserved a private car from a limo company. Yes, more expensive. Worth every euro.
We hired a taxi for our return trip to CDG because we had heard the horror stories of people who had missed their return flights because the Disney bus skipped their hotel on the trip back to the airport.
The trip FROM CDG was a piece of cake.

Timing is everythign - I have had to wait for an hour on one occasion at CDG for the shuttle bus - it did come eventually - it depends on what time you arrive - if its rush hour traffic then the bus is slow and delayed.
I have since then always got a taxi - but of course the shuttle is cheaper.
On the way back i have alwasy got the shuttle - and got an early enough one to allow for delays.

I think I get the picture now. Thanks to all. Can I ask one more question? About how much is taxi fare?

I think our taxi fair from Montmartre (not DLP) to CdG was like $25. Now, the dollar is so low (80/100) that it will be more. :crying:
We took the shuttle to DLP. The RER to Paris, then a cab to Montmartre, and a cab back to CdG. Your mode of transport can easily e determined by how much luggage you have to carry.;)

Dont take a taxi, that will cost a small fortune! You can catch the TGV from Marne-la-Valee Chessy, there is one every hour and it takes 10 minutes, from there you can use the free busses at the airport to get you around to where you want to be, I believe it costs about €12, you can get the time table here http://www.sncf.com/indexe.htm
Alternatively you can catch the RER, I have done this once, and if I recall cost about €8, but it takes up to 1.5hrs depending on connections. You have to take the RER to Chatelet-les Halles all trains from Marne-la-Valee chessy go there, then you need to catch a train on the RER B, now the RER Bs final destination is Charles de Gaulle airport on the line you need to be on, so just look for a train headed CDG and you will get there!
Hope this helps you :)
