Does anybody know where I can purchase the Mickey mouse confetti, like they give out at Crystal Palace? My son and niece are at the age where they just love the stuff, and stop dead in their tracks to pick it up from the street. I'm thinking that if I just gave them some, it might be easier to keep them from picking it up. Thanks.

I don't know whether you have a trip planned soon or not - but let me tell you a story about us and confetti....

We took our boys, then 5 & 7, for their first trip to WDW a year ago {yeah - we are going back in 22 days!} and the day we went to the Magic Kingdom we headed to the Harmony Barber Shop. The boys didn't need a haircut - but I had heard that they "did up" the kids's hair with confetti - turns out they do more than that - the gooped up the boys' hair with blue hair glue, and then sprinkled the confetti all over it! As the hair stuff dryed the confetti "stuck", and the boys' thought it was just about the coolest thing ever...and the fun they had as both cast members and visitors to the park commented on it made their day - all day long. I suppose we'll be doing it on our next trip as well!

I had to wrestle the boys into showering that night for fear that they would get blue hair stuff all over the pillow cases of POR! They didn't want to wash it out...

Thank you. I've seen people with the confetti in their hair. Do you make an appointment for it? We are going to be going during our school break in March (I know, the crowds are awful, but I know we can deal with it). How much does it cost? Thanks.

When we went it was the 2nd. week of Feb and not that crowded at all...we hadn't made a reservation, and we only waited a few minutes while someone ahead of us finished up. Most amazingly - they didn't charge us a THING! I don't know if that is the standard M.O. or not - it was a fun experience for the kids.

Come to think of it though, we did go there first thing as we went into the Magic Kingdom, and we were there as the park opened, so that may have had something to do with the fact that they were able to see us at the barber shop with no wait.

My son, who is 16 now, loves getting his hair cut and done up with blue stuff and glitter at the MK. With the haircut it was $15.00. You may need to check in with them, there are no appointments needed, but sometimes they can get you right in and sometimes you may have to wait.
