Guests will also experience a dynamic performance by the USC Marching Band in Universal Studios Hollywood's festive "12 Days of Christmas" holiday parade and enjoy football highlights and a cash bar at the park's Globe theatre.

A USC Pep Rally featuring the USC Marching Band and USC cheerleaders will rock Universal CityWalk from 6pm to 8pm and will feature Tommy Trojan and will be followed by a private after-party at three of CityWalk's eclectic nightclubs.

The "12 Days of Christmas" holiday parade will be the biggest parade ever mounted at Universal Studios Hollywood and will feature a colorful procession of all-time favorite characters. In addition to the Cat, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the parade will feature the original race horse from the critically-acclaimed hit, "Seabiscuit," as well as such characters as SpongeBob Square Pants, Dora the Explorer, Shrek and Fiona, Spider-Man, the X-Men, Curious George and Woody Woodpecker.

The actual cars from Universal Pictures' "2 Fast 2 Furious" and a zany vehicle used in the blockbuster film "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat" will also have starring roles in the festive "12 Days of Christmas" parade.

Led by celebrity guest "grand marshals," the procession of fanciful floats will wind through the theme park to the strains of festive holiday music performed by live bands.

Within the park, Yuletide spirit abounds with traditional tree lighting ceremonies at Universal's towering 50-foot tall Christmas tree and a dynamic "Blues Brothers' Holiday Show" featuring slick rock-n-roll performances Jake and Elwood-style. The "Special Effects Stages" attraction will also be updated to feature behind-the-scenes movie magic from such blockbusters as "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat," "Peter Pan" and "Seabiscuit."

The holiday celebration continues throughout Universal CityWalk as the landmark pedestrian promenade glides into the holidays with its annual outdoor ice-skating rink that runs through January 4, 2004.

Other hilltop holiday highlights include live gospel concerts performing weekends on CityWalk, an array of eclectic street performers and the world's largest mistletoe dangling from CityWalk's Santa adorned monkey for the ultimate merry "kiss-mas" spirit.

Finally, the countdown to 2004 will be celebrated throughout CityWalk with a rockin' New Year's Eve celebration showcasing an array of live music beginning at 9 pm on December 31.

Gee, aren't you glad I get to post where to find you Morrigoon...:p

(Took quite a few photos of those Washington State Cougars today as part of their day at SeaWorld San Diego...)

But they don't have to march 6 miles on Thursday, and then do a half time show on the same day....

There is a Holiday Bowl Parade, has inflatables, lasts about 2 miles on December 30th.....
