I'm a wheelchair user and have been told that for the most part we must use seperate entrances to rides so I'm wondering about whether I need to spend the extra cash Fast Passes for my walking wife and I. We will be attending the park in January. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Fastpasses are free ;)

If you are wheelchair bound, you can get a SAP (special assistance pass), which will give you a sperate quene for those attractions that your disablity will not allow you to wait in the quene for.
