I just read on another site that Sea World has (or, had) a program for pass holders that if they buy five meals at one of the cafeteria-style restaurants, they will get the sixth meal for free. This site said you have to ask for a card at the passport center in order to do this. This information was put up on this site two years ago. Does anyone know anything about this, and if this is still being offered?

Yes, it's still being offered, and I love it. You can get the card at the passport center, and some of the restaurants have them as well.

It's called the Pass Member Frequent Diner Card. From the card itself: "Purchase 5 entrees, Entree Salads, Kids Meals, or Sandwich Combos and receive the 6th Entree FREE on your next visit!".

They stamp your card every time you make an eligible purchase, and there are spaces for five stamps.

Excellent! Thanks for the info! I'll definitely get one. With four of us passholders in the family, it won't take long to get that free meal.

Ends Dec 31st.

They only stamp one meal per card at a time so it was recommended to us (a couple) to pay seperately and get each of our cards stamped. ASK though.

Don't know IF they are extending it past Dec. 31st either.
If not east fast and large!

The cards have so-called expiration dates on them, but they've never paid attention to them that I've noticed. My current card has an expiration date of "December 31, 2000". I don't think they ever printed new cards. I know I got this card within the past year.

And yes, they're only supposed to stamp one meal per card, though on rare occasions, they've done two. My husband and I each have our own cards, even though we always pay together. I think the only problem would be if we paid together and only had one dining card.

I'll be going right after Christmas and I'll ask for one for each my husband and I. We'll test it out after Dec. 31- a free meal is worth a try.

Do you know about the Passport Member Kiosks...

They are located besides Guest Relations (3 machines), and one in the Passport Processing Center. Every visit, you scan your AP bar code, and receive a set of individual coupons. Doesn't cost a thing, the best thing I got was a free gallon of Frazee Paint (no other purchase necessary, though later coupons was 2 for the price of one). Free arcade games, discounts on food and drink...

Thanks, Darkbeer! I hadn't heard about that- good thing to know!

Yes, most cashiers don't bother to give out new cards but I did! The expiration dates don't mean much so don't worry. I've redeemed some from 1999. However, be aware of the program: ONE stamp PER VISIT. If you were to buy 30 entrees, you'd only get ONE stamp PER CARD. Every passholder is entitled to their own Frequent Diner Card, so make sure you ask for how many you need in the event the cashier only gives out one (make sure the other passmembers are around to verify). Further, you cannot pass the Frequent Diner card to someone else to have stamped. YOU are only entitled to ONE STAMP PER VISIT. For some reason, many people cannot grasp this concept! LOL. Also, separate stamped cards CANNOT be combined. Even though the Frequent Diner card states this, folks still attempt to do this. If for someone reason the cashier seems unsure of what to do, ask for a lead or supervisor - with a smile! ;-0
