It's been 19 years since "That Man" came to the company. Has he himself done anything beneficial to the company? I'm serious. Discuss.

OK, Aunt, I'll take you up on your chilling challenge, let's see if I can find a way out...bwhahahahaha. :)

I can think of a couple of highly valuable things Michael Eisner did (I think on his own) that were of true value to the company. I believe Mr. Eisner hired Jeffery Katzenberg and put him in charge of Disney Feature Animation. That whole division turned around and turned out some of the most beloved hit movies of the modern era of Disney, such as "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King". Another thing I beleive I read Mr. Eisner did was take a chance on two Broadway song writers, one wrote music and the other lyrics. The musical he saw was based on a Roger Corman movie, "Little Shop of Horrors", and Mr. Eisner was taken by the sense of story and character the writers gave their songs. The writers were Howard Ashman and Alan Mencken. Mr. Eisner talked them both into working for Disney. The modern era of Disney animated films and the wonderful songs with clever lyrics in those films came from Mencken and Ashman. You cannot think of Disney or Disney hospitality without thinking of "Be Our Guest", for example, and that piece of music endures today. That's two things. Anything else I can think up would likely have had Frank Wells' also behind it, too, which doesn't count for the question posed by Aunt. So I hope I did well and took up the challenge as Aunt intended. Anyone else, can you think up anything else?
