Criticism of Disney Chief Grows Bolder (http://www.nytimes.com/2003/12/08/business/media/08disney.html?ex=1071464400&en=15e3e1c0bad4c5b1&ei=5062&partner=GOOGLE) - New York Times, 12/8/03

QuikQuote: "Michael wants to be the Walt Disney Company," said Andrea Van de Kamp, a Los Angeles civic leader and head of Sotheby's West coast operations, who was forced off the board early in the year. "But he can't do that." Although an earlier leaked memorandum had expressed some of Ms. Van de Kamp's concerns, she had not spoken in detail with a reporter until last week.
And Mr. Disney, who recruited Mr. Eisner to the company in 1984, said: "Certainly in the last couple of years, it has become very personal. It seems to be a pattern: 'My ego vs. yours' has become the issue, not what's best for the company."

What a great article! The ego of this man is just appalling; it's too bad he didn't resign a decade ago, when his legacy could have been 'the man who saved Disney'. Now he is just another pathetic megalomaniac, one of many, and we are tired of them.
