We need to compose and make available a similiar type of letter that represents us, the Disney consumer community. Anyone up to it? (Hint Hint, MJ..;) )

I don't know about comsumer community, but one for the general public is a good idea and seems to have demand.

Anyone know a good free automatic site to put a lengthy petition like that?

I refer to the 'consumer community' because that is how the corporate and financial types see us- numbers, that's all. It goes without saying that it would be by the public and for the public...See what happens when you start reading things like the Financial Times and Forbes!!!! You start talking like them! Yikes....:geek:

I am in total support for Roy as a student with my major in traditional animation I think he was the corner stone for the traditional animation department.

MJ- Would it work to develop a Website- just a rudimentary one where the petiton could be posted? I don't know how to do it, but our IP has a pretty user-friendly design option for personal webpages. I'm really not computer literate, but if I can get someone to help I would certainly be happy to try- I feel like I need to do something, as I know everyone else does too!

Maybe someone could start a letter for Disney consumers at PetitionOnline.com or some similar site?

Couldn't we, the MP community, rally together and get our OWN letter of support for Roy and Stanley and sign it - or would that not be a good idea??

I mean, if the Admins here agree that a letter would be ok, maybe we should draft our own (collectively) on our behalf and send it?

Dunno...just throwing out ideas....

I really encourage you guys to get something going for fans/consumers/the general public if you can. There are alot of voices out there that have yet to be represented. But the interest won't last forever. Right now its out there well beyond the fan community.

You have the passion, share it!

I've got my hands full with this one...

The time is now! There's a great big, beautiful tomorrow just around the bend.:)

Meowthew-

Good idea! I just checked out Petitiononline, and it looks like a good start, unless anyone knows of a better location? I could look at the guidelines and draft a general letter, open to comments and suggestions from all who care to weigh in....I'll start working on it a.s.a.p., and post a rough draft. In the meantime, I'm thinking on just following Roy's letter, as it pretty much sums up all that is rotten in Disney. Any thoughts or advice will be most welcome!

Some prominent names on that list. I'm impressed.

I just hope a difference is made.

But if Eisner is the Antichrist, then we must assume everything he says is lies! Therefore, in reality, EVERYONE understands the essence of Disney better than Roy! Oh no!:p

Let's not demonize the man. I think being the Anti-Walt is sufficient...
