Found this person's article on The Sims. (http://www.almenconi.com/topics/games/vent16.html) (and his review (http://www.almenconi.com/topics/games/sims.html))

What shocks me, is that someone could look at a bad bug in a game, and turn it into a huge over-statement:

"Players can allow public nudity, fondling of partners’ buttocks while kissing (both of the same and opposite sex), characters burning to death, and even polygamy (a male can marry numerous females, but a female can marry only one man). Could this game be teaching sexism?"

Whoa! Slow down! It's a bug that was fixed long ago. ;)

Is just me, or do sometimes, people seem so dedicated into something, that they must cram all items that they beleive are incorrect into a box?

Let's not push the good aspects of the game, such as budgeting, and achiving personal goals, but how an aspect of the game that doesn't even come up, if you don't want it to.

Oh well. :)

"It is interesting to note that so many players concentrate on the sexual aspect of the game."

Apparently, this guy doesn't spend much time on the net. I can just imagine if he went onto fanfiction sites.....(there's some sick puppies out there- especially one writer named Ocar. *shudders*)

Most of these Parental Watch-dogs only focus on negative aspects of popular things. If it weren't for them going on and on about a certain "trick" on GTA III, I bet many people wouldn't have even thought about it. I guess it never occurs to them that controversy sells.....
