Thanks for the Great America tip. I'm completely happy w/ just going to Disneyland, to be honest, but if my son asks again about GA this year (he'll be 7) then maybe we'll go check it out. I just wasn't even really impressed w/ it in high school when it was still the place to go. Probably why I'm not thrilled with about 70% of DCA, either. Reminds me of GA. Bonfante will definitely be on the list.

Great America has definitely been changing their focus in the last several years. They are very much family focused, including lot's of water play areas (and next year, a whole water park within the park). I miss some of my favorite old attractions (especially the Sky Whirl and the train), but they seem to be getting thing together - with the horrible exception of Grizzly, that is the worst piece of useless junk.

I recently went to LegoLand and I was very impressed on how clean it was, how child friendly the employees are, and how beautifully it was landscaped. LegoLand for children is a wonderful place... Disney could take lessons.
