LARGEST LEGO CHRISTMAS TREE

The holidays at LEGOLAND California bring new traditions. There are many famous Christmas trees across the country, but there is only one place in the U.S. where you can find an entire Christmas tree made from LEGOŽ bricks. More than 245,000 forest green DUPLOŽ bricks will click together to create the 30-foot tall holiday tree at LEGOLANDŽ California. Adorned with more than 240 ornaments and 100 holiday candles, all built in LEGO basic brick, this will be the first time a LEGO brick tree will tower over the main entrance of the 128-acre family theme park in Carlsbad. A special tree lighting ceremony will commemorate this new LEGOLAND tradition on Friday, Dec. 5 beginning at 5 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to come and watch, enjoy some Christmas music and get some holiday shopping done at The Big Shop which boasts more than 8,000-square-feet of the hottest toys and merchandise. LEGOLAND is excited to partner with Starbucks Coffee and the Starlight Children's Foundation to give some families a very special Christmas. On the night of Dec. 5 only, park visitors who purchase a toy at The Big Shop and donate it to the Starbucks Holiday Angels Toy Drive, benefiting the Starlight Children's Foundation will receive a complimentary child's admission ticket to LEGOLAND.

The Lego Store on Michigan Ave. in Chicago has these incredible giant lego structures/figures/animals outside the store. I've never been a lego fan, but these things were awsome!

I can't imagine a Christmas Tree!
