The whole Disney Princesses idea worked out really, really well, so the folks at Disney decided to do something similarly magical for boys with parents who have money.
Enter the Adventurers. Lovable and daring, brave and smartly dressed, says Disney's wundermerchandiser Dara Trujillo. Actually, they're Robin Hood, Aladdin, Hercules and Tarzan, and sometimes Captain Hook, and occasionally Aurora's Prince Phillip, all grouped together, all toting sharp cutlery, all on the same T-shirt.
Is it working for Disney yet? What doesn't?
(there's a photo of the shirt described)

That's Peter Pan, not Robin Hood.

Yeah - I got the impression that different shirts have different characters on them. I don't care much more them myself. Can't quite put my finger on it - but I don't see me buying one for my son.

I don't see myself buying any for The Boy either. They have been in the Disney Catalog for the past few months. He shows zero interest in them. Too bad Disney can't seem to aim Mickey or Goofy stuff to little boys. If they would only stick to the basics their sales would skyrocket.

I don't think they need to be marketed all together on one shirt - maybe that's it.
So all the boys are on one shirt - so what!? That's not a reason to buy it.
I think the princesses all have something in common - they are princesses. From the looks of the shirt - they seem to be trying to put them into an "adventurers" group.
The boys are all very different.
Maybe it they marketed them a little more seperately? Even then though - I wouldn't be buying a Prince Phillip shirt.
He'd love a pirate shirt though - and even though he's not old enough for the ride, I'm sure he'd love Indiana Jones type of adventurer stuff.

Hehe, I would love pirate garb as well as some Indy gear. ;)
Daddy size. :D

I haven't seen the shirt (too lazy to register), but my son has a lunch box with all those characters on it in some kind of action pose. I think we got it because it was really cheap.

My son has the rain boots and the umbrella. Why? They were out of the Buzz Lightyear ones.
Why do I think that they won't sell as good as they might? They've all got fierce looks on their faces. How many of you think of fierce when you think of Peter Pan? Or Aladdin? Or Hercules? Maybe Tarzan in a few scenes, but that's it. The characters look almost mean. That may be "the kind of stuff that boys like," but it's not the kind of stuff we expect from Disney, so people will buy "mean-looking-guy" stuff from another company where the characters are expected to look fierce. The Disney stuff will sell, but not well.
Just my two cents.
