I've noticed a huge influx in pop-up ads in a matter of hours (there were none when I went to work and I had to add the site back to my no pop-up allowed list when I got home). I've been getting 2 at a time with each page I view.

I just wanted to alert the admin, not sure if you changed servers or anything.

We're aware, and we're working on it.

Whew, I thought I had done something wrong and was stuck in a maze of PopUp Hell :eek:

Let us know when it is fixed. I had my pop-up setting off for MP and, OH BOY, did I get hit. I think there were 6 pop ups when I logged on.

One was test on my emotional intelligence. I was wondering if I should take that personally.:p :D

Pop-up ad blockers are great...until you actually want a window to pop up. Like those of us who have MP set to pop up a window when we get a new PM (which is why, I'm guessing, NA had her ad blocker set to allow pop ups on MP).

Yes, you are correct. I reclently recieved a PM and didn't know until I happened to check my email. Oh the terror of not knowing right away!!!!!!!! (For me, it is an awful thing)

I love the pop-ups that are advertising pop-up blockers. :)

Kind of like email spam that advertises spam filters. :rolleyes:

Popups are getting bad again. I've been getting 4-6 of them often when on the site.

Eash time I load a page, the Vonage banner ad appears in the middle of my screen and the animated V has to do its "thing" before a page will load.

I've noticed the ads increasing again. And some of them expand from their window to the middle of the screen.

I have been using my pop-up blocker since they started so I don't have them on my screen, excpt the expandable ones.

I do get my *you have a new private message* window but the actual PM window is blocked (I know thats not a MP issue, just sharing).

I have my blocker turned on. The new window screens stay away. (I get the NEW PM message, but have to hold down my control key to open the message)

It's these floating ones with animation that are driving me insane.

Espically the ones with the close boxes that are just part of the picture. Arrrgh!

As for those that get past your blocking software - nothing we can do about that one.

What constitutes a session?

I don't think it is MP, I zm getting them everywhere. I believe that someone has found a demon in IE. I don't get them with Netscape.

I don't have any blocker software and I don't have any problems with pop-ups either. I get them occasionally, but not too badly.
