Just wanted to know if anyone else is dissapointed about the new location of the Sam Goody on Citywalk. They've had to severaly scale back the amount of items they sell. Not so much for CDs, though they do now have a significantly smaller amount of them; but since this now seems to be just a Sam Goody and not a dual Sam Goody and Suncoast like it was in the old space, they have a lot less DVDs for sale. And they've also stopped selling PC games. I work in the park, so naturally I'm up there a lot and that store was where I did most of my DVD shopping. So this is quite a let down for me.
Personally, I would of rather they left the Sam Goody where it was and put the store they're replacing it with (an Abercrombie and Fitch) in the space they moved the Sam Goody too. More personally, I would have rather they didn't put an A&F in at all. I don't buy clothes there and even if they give us an employee discount that'll only make the clothes moderately overpriced instead of severely overpriced. And it also just makes for one less unique store on Citywalk.

As an employee, you should do more of your DVD shopping at the Corner Store ;)

The corner store prices are actually higher then those at other chain stores. believe it or not, Best buy and Target often sell the new releases for a few bucks less. Also prices at Sam Goody were too high anyway, im suprised that these type of music stores stay in business anymore.

I know, I was only kidding... I haven't bought a dvd at the corner store in a LONG time.

I do like the selection of soundtrack cds there, though
