All right, a couple of people are doing a fanmade dub of the popular videogame/anime series"Rockman.EXE". Trouble is, we're having problems gathering enough different voices to do the character roles. Right now, there are only three different parts that we needed to fill before we can get started. However, since we haven't had any new people to come in and audition, the higher-ups running the project are considering to do the 44th episode instead of the first to get people more interested into doing the project(The 44th episode has more roles than the three needed to get the first one done).

If you are interested in doing this, then come on over to the Yahoo!Club where we are gathering everyone together for this:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/rockdub/

(Yahoo!ID required)

Then, select which of the three characters you would wish to do.
Here are descriptions of them:

Rockman, the hero of the show (http://www.rockman-exe.com/rockman/gg/rockman.html)

Roll (http://www.rockman-exe.com/rockman/gg/roll.html)

Or Dekao Oyama (http://www.rockman-exe.com/rockman/gg/dekao.html)

To audition, simply record a sample line using your computer mic.

*Audition lines for each character*

Rockman
" Netto! Netto! Wake up, Netto!
"I am only here to assit you in your everyday life, not do your homework."
" Netto, plug me into the network!"

Roll
"Meiru has piano lessons today. She canot go on a date."
"ROLL FLASH!"

Dekao

"PLUG IN! GUTSMAN EXE! TRANSMISSION!"
"GUTSMAN,TIME FOR MEGA GUTS PUNCH!"
"Ask Meiru if she would want to go on a date today,Gutsman."
" Netto, what have I told you about staying away from my Meiru?"

Then simply post the audio file of your recording into the auditions folder under Files. We're hoping our project will prosper, but since we're short people to do voice work I thought I check around here seeing if anyone is interested to help with this. Remember to do your best when trying out for a character.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.

I'm interested (enjoy v/o work), but I have a couple of questions:

1) Do you have distrbution rights/clearance for the overdubs?

2) How much total time/lines are there if a person is chosen for a particular character?

I have candidate for ya, over at http://jamie.familyroom.com (I'm the male
voice, but I'll send you your requested sample). She might be
into getting more exposure for this kind of work.

D'oh, I should have mentioned that since this is a fan project, no one's getting paid for it. That's why we can't get pro actors to do this, the fans are doing the voice work(What we do is record the lines using a computer mic and send the person running it the audio files). They aren't going to distrubute the epsiodes out, they will all be downloadable off the internet.

As for the total time/lines, well it depends on the episode and character...though if you try out for Rockman I know he has a lot of lines seeing that he is the hero of the show.

Also, there are a lot more parts needed to be filled that the three I listed. The characters I listed are the ones we need so they can get the first episode dubbed. A full list of the characters and sample lines can be viewed at the RockDub Yahoo!Group I linked to above, along with the script from of first episode.

More scripts will be available as they progress.

Thank you for your interest.
