On all the Disneyland boards and at the official site it says kids under 3 are free, but I read on this board not too long ago that now kids 0 to something are $37.00. I have some friends at work who want to go next weekend and they have kids who have always gotten in for free. Is the above true? Does anybody know the current single day addmission for kids under 3?

I just took my kids 2 weekends ago, one is 5 and has an AP, the other is 2. I've never paid for any of my children when they were under 3. I've never even been asked their age.

Children under 3 are free. 3-year-olds need tickets.
Some of the restaurants with character meals do not charge for children under three (in the past, the Paradise Pier Character breakfast did not, I haven't been their in awhile, though.) But other character meals that are only buffet DO charge even for children under 3. Maybe that was the confusion?
BTW, it's not necessarily a consistently enforced policy re: character meals... sometimes I haven't been charged...

Hmmm...Goofy's Kitchen always rings up my 2 year old as an infant which I thought was odd, but they always do that. And he's always free. Guess that I should be paying, but the Cast Members working the register don't see it that way! :)

Hey, look at it this way: He's an infant at three, but he'll be an adult at ten!!!

We had two character breakfasts at Goofy's Kitchen and we were not charged for our 2-year old son.
I was told that we would have to pay for Daniel at Ariel's Grotto - if he ate. Unfortunately, he was napping during our reservation...so we missed it.
