Anyone know if this is posted anywhere on their web site, or will I have to call? Also, does anyone know when their Pepsi can promotion will end? Thanks.

View Full Version : Knott's refurb schedule ralfrick 09-30-2003, 04:56 PM Anyone know if this is posted anywhere on their web site, or will I have to call? Also, does anyone know when their Pepsi can promotion will end? Thanks. Darkbeer 09-30-2003, 05:50 PM Knott's does not list their refurbs on line, but Tomorrow starts the annual Haunt season, so all major rides should be up and working. The days are short, and things like the Mystery Lodge, the Bumper Cars, and the Main Arcade are closed due to the fact that they are mazes at night. Also, areas of Camp Spooky and some of it's rides are closed. Rides like the Log Ride and Mine Train will be open, but you will find Haunt stuff throughout the ride, but with black hoods over the "scary" masks. The big rides, such as Ghostrider and Xcelerator will be up and running both during the day, and then at night, during the separately ticketed Haunt event. As for discounts, I recently posted the facts on the Haunt discounts, as for the day discounts, I have heard that they will extend the Pepsi Can discount, if not, then a similar discount (and price) will be offered during the day. You can check the current discount offers here.... http://www.knotts.com/hot/index.asp ralfrick 09-30-2003, 10:17 PM Thanks, Darkbeer, I had a feeling the answer would come from you; I did see the discount info you posted. We won't be down there until late Nov., but it was on my mind , so I posted the question. I'll probably check for what's current as the trip approaches. Darkbeer 09-30-2003, 11:40 PM November, well, I would expect that Hammerhead will be closed, and be in the midst of being removed, by the end of November, all of Haunt should be gone (My guess by November 21st). The Church will have been relocated by then, and if you have the time, I would go over and check out the Independence Hall and the Church on the east side of Beach... Everything should be up and running though... Watch out, I am about to head north to Pleasanton and Fairfield this weekend....:fez: Jelly Belly and Budweiser tours, here I come.... |
