First of all, great work on the message board. Love it as does everyone else. I was a little disappointed to notice that you moved the "Lounge" from the top all the way to the bottom on the forum page. I thought it was good to have it at the top. That way people would see it and would not post their "general chit-chat" threads in one of the other sections.
Also i was dissappointed to see that you closed four out of the five threads in that forum. There was a very good debate going regarding an article "Marcie's Corner" on MouseInfo.com. I dont know if it was because it was titled "Al bashing" or not, but it was not doing that. Please let me know why they were closed and so all of us can avoid it happening again.

In case you guys haven't had a chance to check, most of the Lounge threads have been reopened. Since this whole thing is new for us, we're still taking the covers off the furniture and getting settled in. Sometimes we discover that a couch got moved to the wrong room or something... it'll all iron itself out over time. DO PLEASE have chit-chat fun in the Lounge! That's what it's there for!! :D

I totally understand that its new...hence me asking the questions to raise awareness....but i still havent been able to get a reply(sending private messages to rob who closed my topic) on why "al bashing!!" was closed. Despite the name it wasnt bashing him.. it was regarding an article that could be considered bashing him. If you could help me clarify why i would soo love you forever.. Thanx:)

I think that Lani addressed this in her post to the Lounge, which I'll partially quote here:

Please be aware that we are taking a cautious step for threads that are overly (and unreasonably) critical of MousePlanet or of any other site, including those that some may perceive to be our competition. In particular, we want to avoid name-calling, as this attacks the poster, not the message.
