OK, first off, if you don't know what the Halloween Haunt is, here is a link to the general info....
http://www.knotts.com/park/calendar/halloweenhaunt.shtml
But one of the best things, is paying a discounted price to get in...
We have a few options, the best price is offered to Knott's AP holders, you should have received a flyer in the mail by now, if not, contact Knott's.
The next best deal are the coupons available at Southern California Burger King's.
Now, the best deal is for the Bare Bones nights, where they will offer all the mazes, rides, and the Hanging, but not the other shows.... (Full price at the door - $35)
Oct. 1, 8 - $20
Oct. 15, 22 - $22
The prices for the full haunt are....(Full price at the door - $45)
Oct. 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 12, 28, 29 - $25
Oct. 10, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30 & Nov. 1 - $30
Oct. 11, 17, 18, 24, 31 - $35
The above prices require you to pick up a coupon at a Burger King, and purchase the tickets at the Main Gate at Knott's (you can pre-purchase them, which is recommend if you live or will be near the park).
The next option is more expensive, but does not require a coupon, and you can print the tickets at home, which will save you a lot of time....
You need to go to this site...
http://www.ticketmaster.com/knotts
You then will go to the next page, and under the "Burger King Discount", pick the amount of tickets you will need (all ages are the same price, and the Haunt is NOT recommend for children under 14), and in the box to the right, enter "BKING"...
You will pay a $5 "convenience charge" per ticket, and a $2.50 per order fee for printing the tickets at home (but this is the best $2.50 you will ever spend, in time savings)
A few more things about the event...
If you want a non-scare event for kids, check out this link...
Camp Spooky (http://www.knotts.com/park/calendar/halloweenhaunt_fun.shtml)
Camp Spooky is part of the regular hours, and a Pepsi can gives you a big discount...(I have been told the Pepsi deal runs thru the end of October)
Current Knott's discounts (http://www.knotts.com/hot/index.asp)
A good way to get in the park first is to enjoy one of two buffet dinners, (either $11.95 or $15.95) great food at a good price!
Pre Scare Dinners (http://www.knotts.com/park/calendar/halloweenhaunt_prescare.shtml)
Also, there are hotel packages available.....
Radisson Resort Packages including tickets to the event, and extras (http://www.knotts.com/radisson/hotel.shtml#haunt)
So, I hope you get to visit Knott's Scary Farm in October... Don't forget....
